OK Bourbon

Our latest maple infusion project.   

 Straight from Oklahoma came a Buffalo Trace barrel that's been filled with pure Vermont maple syrup and sitting in cold storage since it's "born on" date of March 7, 2025. Something Bourbon barrels do a lot of, is sitting around.  And this sitting gave us probably the finest infusion we've produced to date. 

After aging for 7 months we "tasted and approved" and began bottling.  It incoporates a nice caramel taste up front and a mellowing smooth finish of bourbon. A splash in a Manhattan will chase the chill of winter anytime. 

We produced this wonderful infusion in collaboration with OK Bourbon from Owasso Oklahoma, the provider of the hard to get Buffalo Trace barrel. Only available until the barrels dry! Or bottles gone.....

 A good infusion is the result of the freshest barrel combined with what we call "between grade" syrup. When syrup transitions from Amber Rich to Dark Robust. This happens at most for only one or two days during the season, when light colored syrup takes on the true flavor of maple. We only use this syrup to make our legendary infusions.
